Dreams, meditation, psi, hypnosis, altered states… it’s all up for discussion! I’m co-teaching a new course at the Rhine Education Center with my colleague Loyd Auerbach, author of (most recently) Psi Wars: East and West.
The course is Dreams and Altered States of Consciousness. It’s an 8 week course, including live video lectures, discussion board, and guaranteed instructor support on your journey. You can take the course as adult education–for the fun of it–but it also can be rolled into completion of one of several certificates offered at the Rhine.
I’ll be teaching the sleep and dreams section: including sleep and dreams, psychic research into dreaming, extraordinary dreams, lucid dreaming and Out-of-Body Experiences, and night weirdness including sleep paralysis, night terrors and sleep walking.
Loyd Auerbach, who is a stage mentalist as well as a parapsychologist, will be leading the discussions around many altered states of consciousness, including how to induce them safely.
This is a fundamental course for consciousness studies and the “cathedral of the mind,” and will provide you a robust foundation for your own personal studies into the mystery of consciousness, dreams, psychedelics and everything else that’s “beyond the pale” of human existence.
The Rhine Education Center is the education wing of the non-profit Rhine Research Center, which has been funding research into parapsychology and anomalous psychology for over seventy years, including founding the peer-reviewed Journal of Parapsychology in 1937.
Join us! Here’s where to learn more and here’s where to register.
The course begins Tuesday June 2 and is every Tueday through July 21, and each “broadcast” will be at 7pm Eastern time. However, all video lectures will be archived so you can watch them at your convenience.
