Let’s talk about BIG DREAMS. That’s what Dream Like a Boss Book 2 is all about: Big dreams, lucid dreams and borderlands of consciousness.
It’s my introduction to working with extraordinary dreaming—a journey into the weirdness, stitched together with the dreams of my peers and readers, my own dreams, and the most up-to-date studies in dream research.
I have to admit, I took a long time working on this book, much longer than I intended. On the eve of its release, I finally realize why. At barely 120 pages, this may actually be the biggest book I’ve published yet.
What makes it big is not the content, but the layers of vulnerability, synchronicities and bizarro circumstances that come with the territory here on the edge of what is already one of the most marginalized fields of study in the academy: our dreams. Compiling this book has forced me to revisit everything I thought I knew about dreams.
What’s inside?
Included in Dream Like A Boss Book 2 is a detailed introduction into learning how to lucid dream, which is the wonderful experience of knowing you are dreaming and being able to make choices in the dream. Chapters include the best ways to learn lucid dreaming, the sexuality of lucidity, and the surprising spiritual path that comes with doing lucid dreamwork.
Book Two also covers the waking visions of hypnagogic and false awakenings, as well as some thorny issues in dream research, such as psychic dreams, ancestral visitations and past life dreams.
There’s a nice, healthy, dark part of the book too, which zeroes in on night terrors, sleep paralysis, and lucid nightmares: all of which are misunderstood “gifts” in one way or another.
But over all, this is a book about hope, mystery, creativity and spirit. What I’ve come to realize is that what matters most is that we pay attention to our dreams. Not your dreams, or my dreams, but our dreams.
Together.

It comes with some valuable bonuses during launch, including a free copy of Dream Like a Boss Book One.
Besides launching the new ebook, I’m also debuting the new home for Dream Studies Press. It’s still a work in progress, but the site is live, giving the publishing arm of Dream Studies new breathing room!
I’ll still be blogging here of course, with a renewed emphasis on public dream and consciousness education. It’s time for a fresh start.
