I”m getting on a train this evening, heading towards Yale Divinity for the 2008 conference for the Society of the Anthropology of Consciousness. Got my woolens and my soft brown shoes so I can blend in with the ivy scene.
Who am I kidding tho? I”m a southerner and to prove it I”ve got a sunburn on the back of my neck from last weekend’s hike in the palm hammocks.
My cognitive archaeology talk is scheduled for friday, although I think I am going to spend more time discussing how anyone can use the method of nature observation rather than focusing on the particulars of my rock art research design.
Depending on wifi availability, I hope to review the conference as it happens. If not, I’ll be sure to catch everyone up when I get back to Florida, with my recorder full of podcastables.
BTW, the hotel we”re booked for in New Haven is rumored to be haunted, or at least very creepy. Exciting.
